Dr. Paul Macellari, Ph.D. HSPP | Clinical Neuropsychologist

Dr. Macellari has had over 40 years experience in the field of Clinical Psychology. Having completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame, he attended a specialized geriatrics program at Northwestern University Medical School. His neuropsychological training at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and Hines Veterans Administration Medical Center eventually brought him back to South Bend in 1985. There, he directed the Neuropsychology Department at the Michiana Rehabilitation Institute. While in the South Bend area, Dr. Macellari has practiced in both hospital and private sectors. His experience includes holding faculty positions at the University of Notre Dame, Andrews University, and Indiana University School of Medicine.

 

Currently, Doctor has offices in South Bend and Mishawaka. He is on staff as Memorial Hospital and Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center and provides inpatient evaluations at both facilities. His practice includes neuropsychological consultation, testing and individual psychotherapy. He also confers with physicians, family members, and attorneys. His very specialized background can be extremely helpful to those who have met with the various obstacles of disability.

Kim Franczek | Office Manager

Kim has managed Dr. Macellari's practice since 2008. She oversees day-to-day business operations, such as patient scheduling, billing, insurance and correspondence. In addition, she supports an organized and communicative office environment. With 16 years experience at Clinical Neuropsychology Services, Kim understands the intricacies of the mental health field, and is devoted to providing proper patient care--all with an attentive ear, smiling face, and warm demeanor. 

 

Kim has been living in the South Bend area since 1997. She and her husband, Joe, have been married for 30 years. Together, they have raised two sons, Sam and Aaron, both Indiana University graduates. 

Marcus Macellari | Clinical Neuropsychology Testing Technician

Marcus has been working with Dr. Macellari for the last 12 years. On a daily basis, he administers written, verbal, visual and physical tests to patients. He observes, scores, and records test results, which are then discussed with Dr. Macellari for further evaluation.

 

Marcus has bachelor's degree in Psychology from Indiana University South Bend. He has lived in the Michiana area for most of his life. He currently resides in Mishawaka with his wife and two children.
